You want the Klip to automatically drill down to the level that contains more than one item.
Note: This article uses advanced features that are only available in the business version of Klipfolio Dashboard. Add <enterprise>true</enterprise> in your <setup> block in order to try them in Klipfolio Personal Dashboard.
Set <autodrilldown> to deep.
For example, say Klip has Washington state in the first level, King County in the second level, and Bellevue and Seattle in the 3rd level. When using <autodrilldown>deep</autodrilldown>, this Klip will be loaded with the 3rd level opened, and users will have an option to drill up from this level if desired. Here is what the Klip looks like when it is loaded:
